This workshop will provide advocacy training for public health professionals and students, providing insight into likely public health priorities for the 2025 spring legislative session and strategies to get involved.

The central theme of this workshop will surround preparing testimony for the Rhode Island General Assembly. Speakers and small groups will be organized to discuss how to provide testimony (including electronic submission), what effective testimony looks like, and how to give a good testimony in front of the general assembly.
